Shame on Caution-Parker!

Caution-Parker laid into Trustee McFadden tonight during the Draft Agenda portion of the February 8, 2022 board meeting. Tomorrow I'll review what and how she said it, but Caution-Parker was AGGRESSIVE, rude and threatening toward Trustee McFadden, and Teresa Holmes did nothing about it.

Caution-Parker deserves to be sanctioned by the Board for her behavior.

Maybe she even should have been trespassed by Richland 2 security and removed from the meeting.

More tomorrow. I don't want to be up all night writing about the chaos in the February 8th meeting, only days after the workshop on Friday, February 4th. Caution-Parker certainly didn't take anything away from that workshop. Nor did Manning.

Chaos continues on the board

I don't know what happened before I tuned in at 8:30PM, but I can assure you that chaos continued in the meeting.

McKie got long-winded and off-topic.

Manning made a VERY inappropriate, rude, offensive and unprofessional comment toward  Trustee McFadden, accusing her of having many motions to be offered . Manning deserved to be disciplined by the board for his behavior during the Draft Agenda portion of the meeting.

Feb. 8, 2022 board meeting

I tuned in late this evening (8:30PM), just in time to hear the discussion of Trustee McFadden's motion to put the Parents' Rights Resolution on the agenda for a future meeting.

Who would not want that before the school board for discussion?

Trustees Agostini, Scott and McFadden voted Yes.

So, who would not want it? You guessed it.

The Core Four. Holmes, McKie, Caution-Parker, Manning. All voted No.

The Four who should be shown the door on November 9, 2022.

Next was a request for a COVID update on the next agenda.

Is the superintendent on Oxygen? Does he have a direct supply of air being pumped into his lungs, so that he never has to take a breath? How long did he speak? - and say nothing.

And then McKie rambled on and on, saying nothing.

Why doesn't the Chair cut off rambling comments? Why doesn't a Trustee call a Point-of-Order when another Trustee or the Superintendent just talks to hear themselves talk?

Black History Month - what is taught?

What is being taught in Richland 2 schools about Black History Month?

Check out this video with David Barton, titled "Forgotten History".

Be prepared to sit on the edge of your chair, notepaid in hand, and ready to listen "fast".

This is what should be emphasized this month.

If you are reading this on February 8, David Barton will be at Village Church, speaking at 5:00PM. Check EventBrite to see if there are any free tickets left.

Toward the end of this talk, David Barton explains: "Four-in-five Millennials believe that there is no absolute moral truth."

And we're seeing this right here on the Richland 2 School Board!
