When will Amelia McKie start paying off her debt to the South Carolina Ethics Commission? She owes $51,750!!!
If you are reading this, send her an email <firstname.lastname@example.org> and tell her to pay. A judgment was filed in the Richland County Common Pleas court in July 2019. Ask her why she is not making any payments at all. Ask her how she intends to pay it off.
Look up Case No. 2019CP4003809 here: https://publicindex.sccourts.org/Richland/PublicIndex/CaseDetails.aspx?County=40&CourtAgency=40002&Casenum=2019CP4003809&CaseType=V&HKey=541168010675685611685110113658311380801101004872681051116512068574910051998499521074786795410410182111
You might also call your State Senator and your State Representative and ask why the S.C. Department of Revenue is not collecting on the judgment. Good luck getting help from then. State Sen. Mia McLeod and State Rep. Ivory Thigpen ignore my communications to them about McKie's debt.
Since she hasn't paid even 1¢ since the Ethics Commission entered its Order No. C2017-023 on July 3, 2018, should she even be on the school board?
